We are here at the hospital in our private waiting room. Callan is currently in surgery and we won't hear anything until he is out. But I wanted to share this picture that Kelly took before he went in. He found a pair of red glasses in a toy doctor kit. He loved them so much he actually took them back with him to the operating room.
Kelly and I are doing okay. It was really hard and emotional when they first took him back to the OR, but Kelly was able to go with him until he was asleep. Nothing about this is easy, but the doctors and nurses are great.
He should be out around 9:45, then an hour or so in recovery before we can head home.
