Callan has been working on a couple of teeth for weeks. Stubborn things. He also came down with a nasty cold a few days ago. He can't breathe, can't sleep, doesn't want to eat & just wants to be held. He has also started taking his first steps!!! He'll only walk if you act like you aren't watching. When we try the whole "Callan! Walk to Daddy!" thing he just collapses and crawls.
The best news is that Chase is finally potty training! He had some interest last summer, but then once I was staying home full-time he completely regressed. Then suddenly a couple of weeks ago he seemed ready again. We moved his little potty into his room so he could use it on his own at nap time and bed time. Within a week he was only wearing pull-ups for outings, nap & bed time. Then by Thursday of last week he was wearing underwear except for bed time! I guess it's true what they say...You can start at 2 years old and be done at 3, or you can start at 3 and be done at 3. I'm still a little nervous about taking him for long outings where there may or may not be a bathroom close by, so we are just doing short little trips close to home.
Off to enjoy the quiet during nap time...while I can.

SO EXCITING about Chase's potty training and Callan's first steps!! Woo-hoo!!
You know what worked perfectly for us when Ava was newly potty trained? Getting a little Baby Bjorn potty to keep in the car. We used it a lot. Then we could stay out as long as we needed and she always had a place to go. :-) We still use it for car trips and such and they're only $10.
