Today the boys and I went to a play date as part of our moms' group. It was a special play date with a "bug" theme. The kids went on a bug hunt, released ladybugs, made "dirt pudding" & did a ladybug art project. Chase brought home a cricket, two ladybugs, a worm & a centipede. They are waiting outside to be released into our vegetable garden when Kelly gets home.
I love being a part of this moms' group. I found it at
meetup.com and it has really been a lifesaver since I've been home with the boys full time. There is always something going on and we've met a lot of really nice parents and kids.
