You Can't Beat the Beach

We just returned from a fabulous and relaxing trip to Cannon Beach. We go almost every year to visit with Kelly's friends, the Chapmans. They have their annual family reunion in Cannon Beach and Kelly has been an honorary Chapman for YEARS. They are always so wonderful to our family & this year was no different.

One thing that was different this year was that we stayed in our own cabin. Kelly found this great, but funky, cabin just up the beach from Haystack Rock. We had amazing views & only a 5 minute walk to the beach. It was absolutely wonderful to get away...just the four of us. We realized on this trip that we'd never done that before. Whenever we travel it is with family, friends or for some other purpose. But to just have a little family trip with tons of family time was just what the doctor ordered.
